And at 6am a month later....

...so begins the morning ritual...
Lora finishes her typical daybreak feeding at approximately 5:45 am, burps Arden, and puts him down in his crib. 10 minutes later Daddy jumps out of bed at the sound of a crying baby and close the door so Mommy can sleep. Daddy burps Arden. Arden spits up. Daddy cleans Arden and puts him down in his crib. Daddy grabs a quick bite to eat (this morning was a glass of OJ, a few strawberries, a glass of milk and a blondie). Daddy returns to a crying Arden. Daddy and Arden decide to lay down together in the guest bed where Arden sleeps best cuddled. Molly (the dog) decides to join us on the bed. About 30 minutes later Daddy gets annoyed with Molly squirming licking, chewing, scratching and kicks her out. 5 minutes later Daddy can still hear Molly chewing her sore foot, puts Arden down in his crib, and covers Molly's foot. Arden sleeps for about 20 minutes until he wakes up screaming b/c it's time to eat. Mommy feeds Arden in bed, returns him to Daddy, and goes back to sleep. Daddy plays with Arden, the usual keep him awake for about 20 minutes. None of Daddy's tactics last very long and Arden begins crying again. Daddy comforts Arden while he spits up... three times. Daddy changes Arden's dirty diaper and begins rocking him while he spits up... three more times. Daddy decides Arden is done (and he was, I was right!) and changes Arden's clothes (I just turn my shirt around to hide the spit up). Daddy begins rocking Arden again only to realize there is another dirty diaper. Daddy changes the dirty diaper and finally rocks Arden to the point that he's dozing. Daddy swaddles Arden and has to rock him again to calm him down. Daddy finally gets Arden to doze off in his crib without needing his pacifier. 10 minutes pass and Arden is upset b/c he doesn't have his pacifier. Arden gets his pacifer and starts dozing again. 10 minutes later, Arden is upset b/c he dropped his pacifier. Arden gets his pacifier. Arden finally goes to sleep without waking up... and now it's 10:30 am, Mommy is still sleeping, Arden is sleeping, Daddy has some quiet time, and Molly is waiting for Daddy to go outside.
