We've just been hanging around the house getting used to life with a newborn and even though I'm tired and still sore, I'm loving it all. I mentioned before that I hoped people were right when they say that things are totally different when it comes to your own kids...just so you know...they are right. I was afraid I wasn't a baby person and would be totally awkward as a mom, but honestly, it comes naturally and I am loving learning and getting the hang of it all. William is a natural too and has stepped right in to help do whatever I need. He's so good at calming Arden down and is so sweet with him. William went back to work today just for this week and then he'll have 3 weeks off and Arden could not have been better last night in helping daddy sleep! He slept almost 4 hours straight without stirring around at all and I think that was a much needed stretch of sleep for the whole household! (Missy included). He's had a bath and he LOVED it...I think the warmness of the washcloth made him feel really good. I was a bit anxious of how he'd handle it because he is not a happy camper when he gets his diaper changed, but he was great! Anyway here are some pics for you....

Oh he's precious! I know you all are so proud and look at that beautiful head of hair! Love it! Blessing to you all. Cherish these first few days and journal all you can between feedings and rest - too soon you'll forget how tiny he is!
