so it's not that bad

We went to a traditional PCA church on Sunday only about 15 minutes away. It was very welcoming, active, and diverse. It seems very well rooted in scripture rather than "a positive, happy message every Sunday" as are many churches here. We also went to the post-college and early career bible study. So we managed to meet a few people in comparable stages of life, except from the fact that they are all from here. They all live at least 30 minutes into L.A, and it's hard to do anything with no home, and no money. All in all, we suspect we'll like it here, it's only been 5 full days and we just have "lotts going on" (as our blog is so appropriately named). We just have to really get settled in and live a normal life for a little while.
