It's getting really close!

We are actually making the move to California! We've talked about it for some time now about how it was always a possibility that we could end up there, but it is actually becoming a reality. Our house in Starkville is full of boxes and we're ready to load up a U-haul and take it to Memphis. Because we live in the middle of nowhere Mississippi, the big move is not the easiest thing to accomplish. We are having to load a U-haul here, drive it to Memphis while hauling William's Corvette behind it. Once we get to Memphis, we will unload the U-haul and reload our stuff into ABF Moving Company's "Relocubes." (Basically like PODS, just a different company) From Memphis, our stuff will be picked up and shipped out to California where it will be stored for about a month until we find a place to live. We are also shipping William's truck from Memphis so that we only have to drive one car out there. William is trying to sell his Corvette, so we are leaving that with my parents in Memphis. Once we get to Simi Valley, California, we will be staying in an Extended Stay Hotel for about a month, while we look around for apartments. In other words, we will pretty much be homeless for about a month. Oh yay! We are taking four days to drive out there so we will be sure to keep you updated on our travels. Thus begins our adventures to Southern California!
