Happy Anniversary to Us!

Well we've made it another year! And what a whirlwind that year has been! I graduated college, William landed his "dream job," we packed up our lives and moved to California, we found out I was pregnant, and the rest is history. This year has gone by really fast, but it has been one filled with many ups and downs along the way! I feel so blessed to have a husband who loves me so much and who I want to follow wherever he goes (even if it means moving as far away from family as you can get and still be in the US!). I pointed out today that we seem to have a trend going as far as each year of our marriage. Thus far, each year we have added a new addition to our family. The first year it was Molly and this year it is Baby Boy. Yikes..I hope we don't have to keep that up every year!
Anyway, today was fun celebrating our anniversary. William brought me an orchid and a card when he got home from work. I had a card waiting for him as well.  We went to Limon Latin Grill for dinner and had a pleasant meal outside with live music overlooking our pretty valley. After dinner we went to the Golden Spoon (of course!) and got some yogurt. Then we came home and had some chocolate covered strawberries that I had made earlier (one of William's faves, can't have an anniversary without them! Last year we both surprised each other with them, so it's become a tradition I guess). We listened to our wedding cd and looked at all of our wedding pictures while we ate our strawberries and had sparkling cider. We had locked ourselves in our bedroom to do this and felt pretty sketchy when we finally came out and told our "roomate" what we were doing..it was funny though..besides...there's nothing wrong with wanting to be alone for our little tradition. Anyway, it was a fun night and I can't wait to spend many more anniversaries together!
We're going to take a little trip this weekend to see the Sequoias and stay a night away from home as a mini anniversary/baby moon trip just to get away by ourselves for one last time before the baby comes. We're looking forward to it and will take pics to show everyone the big trees!
As far as what else has been going on....I've gotten sick twice this past week. I think it's just from the baby taking up so much room that nothing wanted to stay in my stomach. As I mentioned previously, one episode was rather interesting. The other, not so much, but I will say they were both pretty intense. I had busted blood vessels all over my face...I looked like a teenager with tons of acne except instead of zits it was blood vessel splotches...real cute! Monday night I went to a girl's night at my new friend Anna's apartment. It was pretty fun, a little awkward, but fun. I didn't know anyone except Anna and Susan which is why it was a little awkward but I did meet some nice girls and will hopefully get to see them again sometime. That's about it for now. I've gotten a "need to create something creative" bug, so I'm looking for a project to work on to keep me occupied and to scratch my little itch, so we'll see what I come up with!
