So, as you can tell from William's post, we are down to one car for now until his truck is fixed. Stinking transmissions. However, we're working it out just fine and could definitely survive with one car if we had to.

I've been trying to think of the last few necessities to get before the baby arrives that you don't necessarily think about until you need them - like wipes, for example - and trying to stock up so that we don't have to make a hundred trips to the store once he gets here. I'm SURE we're not thinking of some stuff, but I am trying to get as prepared as possible. I found a diaper bag that I really like and was happy to finally make a decision and purchase it. I've been trying to decide on a few other things as well (like a pump) that I know I'll need, but I just don't really know what I'm looking for. I'll post pics of the nursery and everything once I can finish it. Our "roomate" is still here for another 4 weeks, so I won't be able to do that until she's gone, but there's something to look forward to!
I've started to feel what I think are contractions (no one ever tells you what they're supposed to feel like, just that you're going to feel them) and they are not pleasant. They don't happen often but when they do, it definitely gets your attention! Sleep is a thing of the past. If it's not being uncomfortable that keeps me up, it's my mind racing, thinking about all the stuff that is going to happen soon. I guess I'm getting prepared for no sleep when that baby is here, but it would be nice to have a full night's sleep a few times before he comes! I get really hot, really easily and feel like I've been living off watermelon and popcicles to keep me cool. I wear out really easily after only a few hours of house cleaning or errands, so I guess it's a good thing that I can take my time and do what I can do, when I can do it.
I've made a new friend who actually lives IN Simi Valley, IN OUR APARTMENT COMPLEX! Anna (a redhead, mind you, oldest daughter of 4 girls) and David Quinn are a couple who we have heard about and been introduced to (well I've only met Anna so far) a couple of times live here in our apartments! They go to a church called Cornerstone (nondenominational) here in Simi. The couple whose wedding I helped photograph (Steve and Nadia) also goes there and knows Anna and David as well and had told us about them living here. We've been trying to get together and were finally able to today. She doesn't work either and so it will be nice to have someone to call up just to run to Target or come over and hang out during the day. They have only been married for a couple of months but it is awesome to have met people in Simi and I hope to get to know both of them better and meet even more people that live close by. Today Anna and I just hung out at our apartment and then went to the Golden Spoon for some frozen yogurt! She's really easy to talk to and seems easy to get to know so I really enjoyed hanging out with her.
Anyway, can't say I didn't warn you that this would be boring, but that's all I've got for now! How about a pic of the bear to show just what our lives have been like around here:

Glad to hear you have an Anna sub so close to you. She has to be AWESOME if she's a redhead named Anna who like yogurt!
So true what Anna said AND what an answer to prayer! A friend for you during the day and nearby! I think that's great.
