Just an update

Well, the weekend has come and gone and was slightly different than first anticipated. When William got back on Friday evening, he decided not to go camping with Greg because it was raining and he didn't feel like driving in the dark, in the rain, for 3 hours by himself. He thought he might try to make it to Joshua Tree on Saturday morning, but when the alarm clock went off at 6am, he decided he'd rather stay in bed than get up and drive to camp in the rain. So, all of that to say, I wasn't left alone all weekend at all! We went to BabiesRUs on Saturday to start our baby registry. I told William that I felt like we had just done that with our wedding registry and now we're on to registering for a baby....Crazy! We were very overwhelmed with all of the options of bottles and pacifiers and basic baby needs, so we decided to just register for the fun stuff and work on the essentials later. Saturday night I went over to Courtney's house along with Amanda and Monique for pizza and a movie. We ended up just watching a movie that was on tv while we chatted and hung out. I made lemonade pie and took it over for dessert. We had a good time and Courtney and I chatted for a while after Amanda and Monique had to leave. 

Sunday we went to church and had lunch afterwards at the church because we were having a congregational meeting as soon as lunch was over. I must say it was the least "heated" congregational meeting I'd been to, so it was good. Nothing really exciting to report about. Sunday night we had a few friends over to play a few games and hang out for a little while since our small group was cancelled for the evening. It was fun and good to have people over. 

Other than that, we're just settling into our routines for the week and enjoying the slightly cooler weather that we've been having. It rained most of the weekend, but it's back to sunshine now, just with a little bit of cool this time. Anyway, that's all for now!
