PICTURES!!

Ha! Did I trick you into thinking I'd actually posted pictures of our new apartment? Well don't get your panties in a wad, they are coming soon! Like tomorrow! We just got internet in our apartment today so I haven't been able to post pictures until now. I am going to post them tomorrow, so get ready!
Not too much has been going on with the Lotts as of late. We are surrounded by forest fires in the mountains near Simi. We have been seeing a lot of smoke and had one of our freeways closed, but other than that we haven't really been affected by the fires.
I have been working nonstop on my website for Lora's Letters. The new and improved LoraLott.com is coming soon as my business website. I really want to be able to work from home so that I don't have to get a crap job that I don't like. My resume right now is pretty much filled up with coffee shops, that closed down might I add, and delis as my past experience. I think we all know that I know a bit more than that, it's just hard to get jobs if you don't have any experience...go figure? How do you get experience if you can't get a job? So all of that to say, I am trying to get my website up and running so that I can start advertising my own business and see if that works out.
I did, however, have a job interview this week. It was for the Picture People, a children's portrait studio in the mall. Now if you know me AT ALL, you know that I am not that fond of other people's children that I don't really know, much less other people's bratty, crying children who are supposed to be smiling. I had applied for this job online while I was bored off my you-know-what in the hotel room. I didn't think that anything would come of it, but the girl called me and asked if I was still interested. Well, let's see...I don't really do much throughout the day, it'd be nice to get out of the house, sure, I could be interested. Then she asked if I could work weekends, uh nope. Well what about being a seasonal person? Well, I'm planning on being out of town for the majority of that "season." Do you still want me to interview? Well she did and I went, totally overdressed, and had my interview. It only lasted about 5 minutes and I was told that they would get back with me....right. So anyway, we'll see if they call me back but I don't think I'll take the job even if it is offered.
That is about it for now, I'll post pictures tomorrow of our new APT! I hope all of you are doing well and haven't forgotten us yet! I can't wait for Christmas when we get to come home! That will be glorious!
