Girl Time

Today I went over to Woodland Hills, about 20 minutes from Simi, to visit with my new friend Courtney and her 2 year old daughter, Phoenix. We met at her apartment and went to drop off my camera that needs a new card reader. Then we went to El Turito for a yummy Mexican lunch. Phoenix is so cute and is more like a little person rather than a baby. She talked to me the whole time and would call me by name if I wasn't paying attention. Courtney and I got to visit a lot and just get to know each other better. William says that he thinks we could have been sisters in another life or something. We have so much in common and it helps to have someone in the same situation as we are...moved out here, far far away from our families, and are still getting adjusted to living in CA. After lunch we went to Target that was in a stinking mall! Then we just walked around the mall and hung out for most of the afternoon. It was so good to have something to do during the day with a friend. I wish they lived a little bit closer, but for LA, it's nothing. We have many plans to hang out again soon! 

Everything else is pretty normal around here. We have started going to a new members class at church and will be joining the church soon. We are still really enjoying getting to know everyone at church and are enjoying spending time with all of them whenever we get the chance. Anyway, that's it for now!
