Sunshine, unicorns, rainbows, and butterflies

I was the first manufacturing/materials/process engineer added to my group at work. So, I'm pretty familiar with all our processes, materials, documentation, problems, etc. I am often the one responding to management when we have problems and I tend to have a pro-active approach when responding to these issues. I immediately point out why it happened and what we can do / are doing differently now to mitigate the chances of it happening again. One of the newer engineers realized what was going on and frequently asks me how I would resond. This became surprisingly clear to me today because the director of operations, myself, and the newer engineer had to meet with the customer representative to discuss a problem we had. The engineer and myself were discussing the situation before the meeting and she finally responded by saying "I'm just going to let you pull unicorns and rainbows out of your butt." This went on to include sunshine and butterflies. I feel like a magic leprechaun. I wish I could pull a pot of gold out of my butt.
