I haven't posted in years!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all brought in the new year with a little fun. William and I spent our new year's eve in the Hollywood Hills. We got all dressed up and went to a little gathering at a house that our friends, Zach and Audrey, were housesitting in Hollywood. There were just a few people there and we had appetizers and desserts and just hung out until the new year. We counted down with the ball drop and then hung out for a little longer. We all felt really old because we were barely staying awake until midnight, but it was a fun and relaxing way to bring in the new year....besides...who else can say they were in the Hollywood Hills??
Baby didn't skip a beat in bringing in the new year...on the 1st I was throwing up and in bed most of the day...so fun! We did end the day with tostadas and a scrabble game at our friends', Dave and Kathy, house.
I am still getting settled back into our apartment and have just gotten everything unpacked and put away and have been working on cleaning the apartment which desparately needed it!
I helped photograph a wedding last Friday. I was glad that I was just the assistant photographer because I didn't have to worry too much about getting the perfect shots and messing up. It was fun, but I really don't want to do that as a job.
William and I bought our first baby related item today! We found a glider rocking chair on craigslist for $20 and decided that it was a steal! William met the lady in the Babies R Us parking lot and picked it up. I think we'll replace the cushions, but other than that, I think it will do the job! I think that craigslist will be our best friend in finding stuff for baby on a budget!
We find out the sex of the baby on January 27th! We got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time at our last visit on Monday. We had only seen it through ultrasound, but actually got to hear it this time...pretty crazy!
Anyway, that's about it for now!
