Yuck.

Well I haven't posted in a few days because I've been feeling awful. I think yesterday was the worst day yet with a migraine and throwing up four times. The term, "morning sickness," is deceiving because it makes one believe that sickness is only in the morning, when in reality, it can last all day for multiple days in a row. However, today I am feeling MUCH better and hope to feel well at least through tomorrow night. Tomorrow night we have a girl's night planned at Courtney's house (she's the one with the husband, Dallas, and daughter, Phoenix, and we're pretty much twins). We are planning on having dinner and learning how to make her killer pecan pie. So, I'm hoping I feel up to it because it should be quite fun.
When I'm not sleeping because of nausea, our lives are pretty normal around here. All of our friends here have been excited to find out the news of the new baby and some girls are already wanting to plan a baby shower! That should be exciting considering we're going to be on a tight budget to pay for all things baby!
I'll be in Memphis in exactly one month from yesterday and I cannot wait to see everybody! I'm already making plans in my mind of what I want to do with friends and family while I'm there. I'm also looking forward to Chik-fil-A and Old Venice Pizza. We have concluded that California doesn't have anything on food in the south, not that Chik-fil-A and Old Venice are great examples but just overall, I think Memphis and Starkville have better restaurants than Simi Valley.
So that's just a quick update, I promise not to give you a day by day play by play on my sickness, but just keep me in your prayers because right now, pregnancy is no fun! We'll talk to you soon!
