Happy Good Friday....Happy? Not so much, but Good indeed. Today we remember that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He did not deserve it, but he was willing to do it so that I may have life and that is good news to me! I don't deserve Him. He bore the cross, the humiliation, the crown of thorns, the mocking, and all that came with the crucifixion for me. That is hard to wrap my mind around, and I will never fully understand the depth of what he has done for me, but today I am pondering it and praising Him!
Today was another beautiful day and we wanted to stay out in it as much as possible. We have had a busy few weeks, so I didn't really want to go anywhere, but we've always got our playground, so after walking Molly and riding the motorcycle for a little while, we headed there. Porter tried out a big boy swing for the first time and it was a hit! He was sleepy, but he smiled a lot anyway and just laid back like an old pro. Arden enjoyed the swings as well as climbing on everything else. While we were outside we saw a FedEx truck drive by, so we ran around to our door to see if it was our package from Missy and Pop! It sure was, and we were excited! It was filled with Easter goodies and the boys' Easter suits!! They are too cute, and I can't wait to put them on the boys and take lots of pictures! Thanks again Mom!! You are a sewing champion!! After naps, Daddy came home early, and I got to go get a pedicure wih Anna Ashton. Today is her birthday so we celebrated in style! It was such a treat! We are getting ready for Easter and looking forward to having several friends over for dinner and an egg hunt!
Yay for swings!
