Stay At Home Moms Unite! We had our monthly get together early this month and got together at the neighborhood playground of the Maacks'. It was another beautiful day with perfect weather for playing outside in the sand with shovels and monster trucks and friends. After playing for a little while, Mrs. Laurie Rightmeyer did a little story time for us. She talked about the letter S and read a couple of stories that involved lots of S words. She also had a fun activity planned where the kids got to play with some shaving cream and practice writing the letter S in the cream. It was fun and messy...just how we like it! After a lot more playing, we had a picnic lunch with everyone and then visited and played some more. Arden just loves being outside and although he did not want to give up the monster truck at the end, I think he was ready to come home for a long nap - whether he knew it or not! Porter napped a little bit in the stroller while we were there and then enjoyed sitting in the grass with me for a little bit. They are both napping now and I probably should be too!
