I know this is a week late, but bear with me. We had a wonderful Easter here, even though we were sad to miss it with the fam back in Memphis. Before church Arden got to look in his Easter basket for his fun new toys. We went to church around 8:30 to help set up for the Easter Brunch that we had that morning. I had helped the day before with some of the cooking and wanted to help get everything ready that morning. The brunch was a success and everything was tastey. It was fun getting to visit a little before church with everyone. The service was great and the choir even sang the Hallelujah Chorus. Naturally, I sang along with the altos from out in the congregation. That afternoon we rested a little bit and then started cooking for our Easter dinner. We had the Kaisers, Dan, Patti, and Katie, over for dinner that evening. It was my first big meal to fix without using meat and I think it was a success. We had stuffed spaghetti squash, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, roasted brussel sprouts, bread, salad, and dessert. It was tastey and we enjoyed their company. I made "resurrection eggs" for us to read and take a moment to remember what we were celebrating. Besides, what's an Easter in our family without the eggs?!

Arden's bubble suit - that I worked on ALL week prior to Easter, including smocking it and putting it all together - was a success and fit him perfectly! I think he was quite handsome if you ask me!

Enjoying his Easter basket filled with Organic Smiley snacks, a block train, a bucket and shovels for the beach, and foam bath letters and numbers. (I know, first child, went overboard a bit)

The bubble suit!

He got some new Easter shoes too!

The Easter family! Yes, that is William's $6 thrift store suit from college.
