AHHHHHH

I'm pulling my hair out! While I am SO glad to see Arden growing and developing and learning so much, it is not easy being his mom these days! He is getting into anything and everything he can get his hands on. The OCD in me is really freaking out because of all of this chaos. We have covered the sockets, cleared off the coffee table (I was tired of my candles being banged on the table and wax getting everywhere) and have tried to put away dangerous things, but we aren't going totally crazy "baby-proofing." I don't really think that true baby proofing exists unless you live in a rubber house with pillows for furniture. Anyway, it is fun to see him getting around on his own and discovering new things and figuring things out. He had been trying to crawl for so long that I am glad he finally figured it out. He is also a pro at pulling up on anything he can. Molly is absolutely not a fan of Arden's crawling, but she is still a good "sister" and puts up with it most of the time (other times she just gets away from him as fast as she can) So, the proof is in the pudding - or the video - here ya go!

Notice he likes to hum when he crawls - it's nice, it lets me know when he's on the move!

In other news...we went hiking a little while ago with our friends, the Ashtons, and then had dinner with them at their house. I have a feeling Owen and Arden will be great friends in the very near future - especially now that Arden can start keeping up with Owen running around.

We're going camping this weekend with a big group from church. I'm really excited to get to spend a lot of time with our friends and just be outside. We aren't entirely sure how Arden will do, but I'm not too worried about it. He loves being outside and I'm sure he'll do fine. I'll be sure to take some pics to share when we get back!
