Look at me I sail...way far away from the dock...

We have been super busy as of late and I can't even really remember all that we have been doing! I had been telling William that I wanted to do something fun and just us now that I am finally feeling back to my normal self, so last Friday William took off work after lunch, we got a babysitter, and we went sailing with two co-workers, Lindsay and John, for the afternoon. It was the longest we had ever gone being away from Arden, but it went great and we had a blast. It was a little rushed since we had to drive an hour to get to the place where we set sail, but it was all worth it. They came and picked me up after getting off work and we drove to El Segundo and had a Mexican lunch. Then we drove down to the harbor and got everything ready to go. We sailed for about 2 hours or so and then had to head back home. It was so refreshing to not have to worry about what time it was or when I needed to feed Arden or when he needed a nap, etc. William and I got to hang out, just us, for a little while on the boat too and that was great too! I didn't take my camera, so unfortunately I didn't get any pictures, but John did, so maybe I can get them from him soon.
.
This past week has been really busy as well, having something to do every night of the week! We had a few church things to do on Monday and Tuesday, and then had some people over on both Wednesday and Thursday. Friday night, we were both exhausted so we just got some sushi and vegged out on the couch watching a movie. Arden has been a trooper through it all and only screamed for a little while one night, when he had had enough and was ready to go home! ha! He's getting bigger and knows what he wants when he wants it and lets you know it. He's started spitting when he gets mad and then crying this awful, angry cry when he's tired. It's not very pleasant, but at least I am able to read his cries better these days. He still hasn't rolled over much, but I'm not worried about it. He is really strong and will probably be sitting up before I know it! We go to the doctor on Tuesday, so I don't know what he weighs yet, but we'll see soon. He is still really sweet and happy most of the time. We are really enjoying him and can't say enough how cute we think he is. He's started laughing a lot more too. He is still not sleeping great, but he usually will go 5 to 7 hours straight before waking up and either needing his paci or needing to eat, so I am getting some sleep and feel pretty rested. William lets me sleep in on the weekends, which is very refreshing, so we're doing ok! Now that I'm back to normal, we're going to start running together in the evenings and I am also about to start ChaLEAN Extreme (a Beachbody program that I just ordered) to help build my muscles back up. I'm really looking forward to shedding some more of this weight, so we'll see how it goes! We can't wait to be at home for Christmas and are counting down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until we're there!!
I think I'm ready for real food, Mom!

What?! I'm just playing in my new toy thing!

Just playing in my monster jammies

I love her, she's my favorite!
