At 8 months he has 1/2 of a tooth, can sit up all by himself, is a rolling champion, is an even bigger eating champion, sleeps 11 hours at night and then after eating in the morning, goes back to sleep for a couple more hours, can scoot around a little bit on his tummy and can get onto all fours, but isn't crawling yet. He is always so happy except for when he has to be patient in his high chair while I fix his dinner. He wants it as soon as he sits down! He LOVES his big brother and everything he does is hilarious. I've never seen a baby laugh so hard at something so often. He loves reaching in and getting things out of a bucket or basket or bowl. He is very easy going and is happy to just be along for the ride wherever we are going. He is starting to prefer me over others and is happy to just be held. He loves swinging outside. He loves looking at himself and talking to himself in the mirror. He talks to his toys. He has started making the "ba" and "da" noises, but they aren't directed toward anyone yet. He recognizes his name and will turn toward you when you call it. He likes being tickled and waved to. He smiles with his whole face - mouth wide open and everything! He really likes looking at books, taking baths, eating puffs, "jumping" on the bed with brother, pulling Molly's hair, taking glasses off of anyone wearing them, spatulas, and putting pretty much anything in his mouth. He sleeps on his tummy and can be found pulling his bumper pad down to look around the room when he wakes up. He is ready to be in his bed when he is sleepy and will fuss until he gets there, but never has trouble going to sleep. He sleeps with a paci and his blanket. He has the biggest, cutest brown eyes and cheeks. He is just delicious, I could eat him up! He loves eating and eats pretty much anything that you feed him. He is still nursing about 3 times a day with 1 or 2 bottles of formula. I can't believe that he is already 8 months and will be on the move soon! Here's a look back at how he is growing up all too fast:

I look forward to watching this little boy grow more and more and am so thankful that I get to be his Mommy. He is such a blessing to our family and we all love our baby (Arden refers to him as "my baby" all the time).

Loved seeing the pictures of the changes over the months! It's so crazy how much they change that first year. He and my Wilder man are not far apart in age!!
My precious Por-Ter!!! So so sweet. His Missy thinks he's just perfect!! I love you, baby boy.
