Earthquake!!!

Well we finally felt an earthquake after living in Southern California for 6 years! We woke up to our bed shaking and some sort of crashing sound in our living room on Monday morning around 6:30. I first thought one of the kids was shaking our bed, but quickly said "Was that an earthquake?!" William jumped up to go check on the kids and I rolled out of bed to follow him. The boys were awake and were a little shaken up...ha! But, after we explained what it was, they were just curious with lots of questions. The only casualty was a candle that fell off of a table, but everyone and everything else was fine. We tried getting everyone to go back to sleep, but that didn't happen, so William stayed up with the boys while I rested some more. It was definitely an exciting way to start the week!

Speaking of William staying up with the boys, he's been spending a lot of time taking care of them lately to let me rest. Thursday evening he took them to the BMX track to ride while I stayed home and relaxed. Saturday I went to a women's tea at church and relaxed and enjoyed visiting with other women while William stayed home with the boys for me. Then, Sunday after naps he took the boys hiking to burn off some energy while I stayed home. And tomorrow he's taking them to an air show for the whole day while I will stay home and do some light cleaning and mostly relaxing! He's been really great about entertaining them while I am pretty much useless in that area and it's been such a relief for me.
 Pretty exciting hiking!

We are attempting to get things ready for the baby and in doing so, we are shopping for a new dresser or armoire for our bedroom so that the boys can have our current one and we can put the dresser/changing table that the boys are currently using in the nursery. Anyway, we had found an armoire on craigslist that we thought would be great for our room because it would give us some drawers as well as some more hanging space (closet space is limited around here). William rented a truck and went with a friend to pick it up on Saturday. It was a huge piece of furniture, but they managed to get it back to our house. However, that's about as far as it would go. It would NOT fit into our bedroom. It was physically impossible to move it into our room because of its enormous size and the angles of where our bedroom door is, etc. Anyway, one of the friends helping suggested that we use it as a pantry in the kitchen (which we had been planning on my dad building for us). We decided to give it a try and with centimeters to spare, they managed to move the armoire into place in our kitchen. SO we don't have a new armoire, but we do have a new pantry, which is still pretty exciting! I keep just referring to it as our "huge piece of furniture"....so.big.

There's a shelf that goes in there too, but look at all that storage space!
My dad is still building us a pantry that is not quite so huge in size, so we will just resell this one when that one is ready, but for now, the storage space will be nice to have.

Other than that, William has been working on getting some fruit trees planted in pots in our backyard, the boys have been playing outside a ton, and I've been resting as much as possible. I'm so ready to be able to move around and bend over and do normal things again!

Definitely ready for our yearly kiddie pool, but for now, we play with the hose.

 Snuggly brothers!

Playing at the park with other friends

Almost woke him up, but had to snap a pic of him sleeping with his baby, Elijah...he's been spending a lot of time dressing and "feeding" his baby this week...I think he's ready for his baby brother to get here!

Our first ice cream truck experience...Batman popcicles!! Yum!

I go to the doctor every week now, and as of today I am 1cm dilated...only 9 more to go! I'm not getting my hopes up because I was at a 3 with the other two for about 3 weeks, but things are starting to happen!!
